It’s Been A Good Day!

Sooo two really exciting things happened today in the book world!

1. I won a collectors edition signed by the author herself for one of my new favourite ARC books I recently just read! Blakemore Reform Academy book 1. I got sooo shocked when I read the notification I was like WHAT? Are you serious?! Lol I thought it was a joke because I’d be talking to the author and I’d asked if it was international or not and she was like I’m going to say yes but I hope no one internationally wins for my sake with multiple laughing emojis 😂. My response was on the lines of – haha understandable…but for my sake……hehe jokes jokes…fingers crossed it doesn’t. Lol. And then today I woke up to this response.

“well, your hopes are crushed. YOU WON!! Now we can talk about the damage with international shipping… 😉 LOL!”

So you can understand my shock right? I thought at first she was teasing me and I messaged lol and she was like you totally won!!!!! That’s when the excitement hit and I was like EEEEEEKKKKKK!!!

The second thing that happened today was…. 🥁 ARC of Assassin’s Academy just landed on my iPad!!! I can’t wait to start reading this baby!!

Tell Me More Of What You Guys Want

So with my followers picking up…tell me, is there something you want to see more of? Would you want me to see something like a Tassi’s Monthly Book Recommendation? Um or how about a Get To Know Me post once a week. Giving one random story or fact about myself. The random story thing could be easy enough. I do some super random stuff. A funny or just fact about myself…that I find trickier lol but I can try and rope my family and friends in to see if they can help with that haha.

Thanks to everyone that has chosen to follow/subscribe to my blog. I’m so excited to have you here. You should’ve seen my eyes when I checked on here yesterday and the number had jumped from 14 to 29. I think my eyes nearly bugged out my head hahaha.

Upcoming ARC Book News!

Do we have any Everly Frost fans in the house?! If not guuuyyysss go check her out! I particularly love her Assassin’s Magic book series, check it out HERE!

Everly’s newest upcoming book Assassin’s Academy: Book 1: Rebels (A Dark Academy Romance) releases 1st November but I believe she’s trying to bring that in to around October 15th…And guys I am in LOVE with this cover! I’m in book cover love at the moment. I can’t keep my eyes off it! Beautiful right?!

So I go some news today…the ARC’s are heading my way very soon! Somewhere around October 7th, I cannot wait for this book to land!! 😀 I’m unsure whether you’ll need to read this book prior to Assassin’s Magic books but it is set in that world.

What’s On The Reading Agenda?

Soooo what’s everyone reading at the moment? Anything interesting you’d recommend because we all like to keep our TBR pile growing, right?!

You can kinda all see what I’m reading according to my Goodreads Widget. I apparently like reading more books than one at a time lol…but I just started listening to the newly released audiobook Freshman Witch by Ingrid Seymour & Katie French. Not that far into it yet, so bti hard to say but I am curious. The narrator is also one I have listened to before and really love! Kasi Hollowell (sorry but every time I write her name I want to write Halliwell lol – like you know the Charmed sisters). One of my favourite series Raven Point Pack by Heather Renee is narrated by her and she does a top performance of it.

I don’t know what I’ll be reading next but books just have a way of finding there way into my lap when I need them so can’t update you on that front just yet. But I’ll be sure to let you know if multiple books just pop on up. 🙂

EEEK OH MY GOODNESS GUYS!! I just received my first ARC from one of my top favourite authors Jaymin Eve – If you haven’t heard of her….please do yourself a favour and check her out. Start HERE! You won’t regret it! Jaymin is an Aussie author and I have read and have like seriously most of her books. This is my bookshelf of hers! *gushes*

Look what just arrived on my iPad today! Say hello to the second instalment of Blakemore Paranormal Academy. Soo keen to get my nose into this ARC. It releases 25th September and you can still preorder that baby right here! Random Little Story & Tangent

Soo this is kinda random…but whatevs, you’ll learn that’s just me. 😀 Anywho, so today on my Facebook group I was chatting with some friends about my new blog and a friend of mine Taylor commented saying: “you are a real life Katy!” – any of you who don’t know who Katy is please refer to my book review for Obsidian. Katy in this book is a full-blown booklover right to the core, who of course has her own blog. So when my friend said this in my head I was like: oh my gosh this is like the bestest compliment a girl could ever get! And then because I’m the crazy over-thinker I am…my brain started whirring and making even more connections.
