I can’t believe that what I read in this book all happened in the space of one day and night! Too much awesomeness went down and happened…so much changed, so many lies uncovered. Everly has done it again. Not that I’m surprised by that. I’m used to the way her books come into my life with a massive bang and oh how this one did just that. If there was just one word I could use it would probably be

You guys do not know the struggle it has been for me to continue reading after finishing Supernatural Academy…literally everything was meh…which was kinda sad because I know my enjoyment of this book would’ve been even higher than it was…but I did thoroughly enjoy reading it! Supernatural Academy: Year Three by Jaymin Eve
Holy flamin’ Atlantean babies…I…I don’t have the right words to express just how incredible of a journey this final book to Maddi’s story was! So many emotions that I barely know if my review will even make sense…I don’t even know where to begin with this book…and don’t say “the beginning” because that doesn’t help! I’m a person who went on an insane journey and I’m in a MAJOR book hangover. No one gives one of those better than one of my all-time fav authors, Jaymin Eve. Like I love you to bits but one of these days she’s going to give me a fair dinkum heart attack…I kid you not!
The Brave & The Broken: Gifted Fae Academy Year Two by Brittni Chenelle
I finished reading this book whilst on holidays and let me just say, I was not disappointed with my first book that kicked off that holiday! I should’ve totally written my review up sooner but I was hoping that…one, my brain would be working a bit better and two, I kept getting sidetracked by my three little nephews and my family. Oopsie…But alas, do not fear, as this review is finally coming. Hopefully, I can accomplish getting out a decent review.

So last Thursday I was given a new diagnosis of Spondyloarthritis – I don’t know if many of you would’ve heard of it but it’s all basically connected to the inflammation in the body but originates from the spine – it is an autoimmune disease…and when left untreated it just spreads attacking your whole body. Mine was left untreated for 8 years so you can kinda guess severity levels yeah.
Continue readingSo I totally have to tell you guys all about what happened Friday afternoon because it is totally worth blogging about. So last night I got to finally meet a favourite author of mine! Eek I know right! We have been messaging for awhile now and when I heard she was in Sydney for BABE (book event that is happening today). When Heather learnt that I couldn’t go for many reasons relating to my health, she amazed me by taking time out of her busy schedule to catch up! How awesome is that?!
So off I went with my family into the city, coz there was no way I could’ve gotten there myself lol, so we made a family trip and they dropped me off at the hotel Heather was staying at. I don’t know about Heather but the moment I saw her and we just went in for a hug I just felt us click. We sat down got some food and chatted like we had done it a million times before. It was just incredible finally being able to meet you! It means more than words can honestly express but I was just so happy that this happened. After some pretty hard news the day before this was a very nice change up!
I’m so glad we were able to make this happen. And no amount of thanking you Heather can express how awesome it was that you made this happen!! You are the absolute best and a beautiful soul! ❤️
I then finished the day off with my family, while my little nephews munched on some food and played at the park.
So there you have it folks! My Friday afternoon spent with an author and it was the most incredible thing ever!!

So I just got this ARC book a couple of days ago, I finished it yesterday but between in being Australia Day and my brain not working to write down words my review didn’t actually happen haha. I’m a little brain dead after finishing this book. Chronic pain was a killer last night but it did give me ample time to devour like the majority of this book….So that was a good use of time right?

We are well into our new year and it got me thinking of what my fav books of 2019 were…I won’t include re-reads otherwise we’ll be here for yonkers lol. Hmm let me think…this is already hard enough. But this is what I came up with…and I totally love the book covers as well so they had to be included too lol.

Doesn’t seem that long since I was reviewing Called By Darkness…time has seemed to fly and I think reading a whole lot of other books in between helped a lot lol. I hope all you guys have gone ahead and read book one because this book is everything you need! I was dragged right back into this world before I could even process that I was actually reading the second book!
