Quote of the Week!

Radiant Fierce (Bright Wicked 2) by Everly Frost
Oh my stars! Dude…this book destroyed my brain! So much so that even with that killer cliff-bungee I couldn’t even rant. I was legit just sitting there so shocked repeating over and over OH MY STARS! It’s two days later and I still can’t think past that end scene and how much it tore at my heart. Even though I’ve read the blurb for the next book and it’ll work out…girls got some ‘splainin’ to do.

So a really special someone did this really amazing and incredible thing for me. And she got her insanely talented Oupa onboard. Big hugs to you both for this beautiful surprise and gift…I’m truly so touched!!!! 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜 so I just had to share it with the world!

Rage and Ruin by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Holy Flamin baby gargoyles! What the heck did I just read?! I just fell down into a hole…A Jennifer world-sized hole, that just consumed me. Does that make sense to anyone else or is that a weird analogy only I will understand haha? Whatever, I’m owning it…it was an awesome hole too.
But seriously, talk about…
Continue readingSo, apparently people like life updates…is that a thing? Should I be doing that? Let me know in the comments if you want more about me. I’m terrible talking about me. Like what’s to tell? I have no clue lol. But from time to time I could try and give an update….if that’s what my Ramblers want.

Pawn (Fae Games 1) by Karen Lynch
Hey, Hey my beautiful Ramblers!
This book has probably been my most anticipated read since I first heard of its release….and guys this book is everything

Yes, it needs it repeated twice because man I was attached to this book well…like a book nerd when you try to take their book off them…(I don’t suggest anyone try this out with a fellow book nerd… unless you want to see a whole new side to them #CrazyAlert lol). My point here is that I was 1000% invested and attached to everything going on within this story. To the point that by the end I had some serious emotions bubbling up in the back of my throat and my heart was beating so fast.

“Um…April Fools!” Then I took off running, hoping Elle was pounding the pavement right behind me.
“Bitches!” I heard a shop girl scream.
Elle snickered beside me as we ran to catch up with the boys. “It’s not April.” I shot her a side glance. “I panicked! Who the hell screamed bomb, anyway? There were a dozen plan Bs, and you went with bomb!”
She just shrugged. “I panicked, too.”

“Damn right!” Talia agrees. “Nobody puts Romy in the corner.”
“And lastly,” I say, stepping forward to look both men in the eyes, “in case you hadn’t noticed, Talia has been my beta since the moment I first met her. That’s not gonna change when I have four legs. Got it, Scruffs?”

“My mind wouldn’t shut off, and I came up here for some alone time with my first love.” He glared at me, and I raised my coffee cup to make sure he got my point, but still, he didn’t seem to find my statement as hilarious as I did.

Hey, hey Ramblers,
Woah! Yet another book in this series that I absolutely loved!! If you have been following my reviews since at least October 2019, you would’ve probably seen the very first review I did on this book…and still yet, this series continues to wow me. To the point that when you’re reading you get so absorbed in the world, that you lose focus on everything around you…that when you’re in the middle of a fight scene and hear a loud bang that brings you snapping back to reality, heart pumping and all you can do is laugh at yourself, for the way your heart is racing from the adrenaline of it all. I legit jumped out of my skin haha….I turned to mum who had been sitting next to me and was like “Well, that made that fight scene way too realistic” lol. Like for a minute there I was like

G’day Ramblers,
Oh my wordy words! This book has me all…1100%! The moment mum began reading it to me (coz at the time I was too sick to even read), I was hooked and wanted more of literally everything. I devoured this book! It was so incredibly captivating and BRUTAL. I couldn’t help it, I had to message Heather (sorry bout my crazy 😂, just remember you love me hehe), like to the point that if I didn’t, I would combust if I didn’t share my thoughts and rant and rave like a looney, lucky Heather is used to me by now, all my weirdness and all coz let’s face it…

Seeking the Fae (Daughter of Light 1) by Leia Stone
G’day Ramblers how is you all doing?! Staying out of mischief I hope…or is that asking too much? Possibly 😉
Anywho, I have just finished reading a book that I felt, I had been waiting for a really long time. The moment Leia told her group about the upcoming release of this book, I just knew it was going to be everything I needed (and oh how right I was!)… And because of this, I found that I had an absolute need to get on the ARC team for this series…and the incredible Leia let me in…wahoo!
